Yet we still continue to celebrate Easter until the fiftieth day, because the story does not end there: the Holy Spirit was yet to come. We rejoice with those same disciples who, \u201cwith great joy\u2026 returned to Jerusalem, and were continually in the temple blessing God\u201d (Lk 24:52\u201353).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But where does the word <em>Lapsi<\/em> come from? The word comes from the Greek \u1f00\u03bd\u03ac\u03bb\u03b7\u03c8\u03b9\u03c2 (<em>an\u00e1l\u0113psis<\/em>), which literally means \u201ca taking up,\u201d and thus expresses, in biblical language, the mystery of Jesus\u2019 return to the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But why rejoice at Jesus\u2019 departure?
