Evening prayer, Tuesday 25th March 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 130
<\/strong>A cry from the depths
He himself will save his people from their sins\u00a0<\/em>(Matthew 1:21).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord,
Lord, hear my voice!
O let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you, O Lord, should mark our guilt,
Lord, who would survive?
But with you is found forgiveness:
for this we revere you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My soul is waiting for the Lord,
I count on his word.
My soul is longing for the Lord
more than watchman for daybreak.
Let the watchman count on daybreak
and Israel on the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because with the Lord there is mercy
and fullness of redemption,
Israel indeed he will redeem
from all its iniquity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
\u2014 as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ant. Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. Behold you shall conceive and bear a son, and he will be called the Son of the Most High.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ant. 3 I am the handmaid of the Lord.
