Childlike trust in God<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart<\/em> (Matthew 11:29).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Lord, my heart is not proud *
nor haughty my eyes.
I have not gone after things too great *
nor marvels beyond me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truly I have set my soul *
in silence and peace.
As a child has rest in its mother\u2019s arms, *
even so my soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Israel, hope in the Lord *
both now and for ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, *
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, *
and will be for ever.
